Questions
Frequently asked.
What sports or domains does this apply to?
Ecological dynamics applies to any domain involving skilled action—team sports, individual sports, music, surgery, public speaking, and more. The principles are universal; the application is specific to your context. You'll learn to apply them to any skill you choose.
Do I need a research background to understand this?
No. I translate the research into practical language and actionable insights. You don't need to read academic papers—that's my job. You just need to be curious and willing to question conventional wisdom about how learning works.
How is this different from other coaching education?
Most coaching education teaches you what to tell athletes. Ecological dynamics teaches you how to design environments where athletes discover solutions themselves. It's a fundamentally different paradigm—from instruction to design.
